Hi Mama, welcome to Liquid Gold Mamas!

I’m Tanesha Hicks, a Board Certified Lactation Specialist and the proud mama of one. My journey into motherhood began in July 2020, right in the middle of a global pandemic. Like so many other moms, I was limited in the support I could get—family and friends couldn’t visit, and even hospital lactation consultants weren’t always available when I needed them most.

As I struggled to keep up my milk supply, I tried every lactation supplement I could find. Some gave me results, others didn’t. It was exhausting, expensive, and discouraging. I kept thinking, “Why isn’t there something made by a mom who truly understands what we go through?”

That’s when I decided to take matters into my own hands. I did the research, tested the herbs, and created supplements that actually worked for me. What started as a personal solution quickly became a mission—to help other moms skip the endless trial and error and get the support they deserve.

I also became a Board Certified Lactation Specialist so I could do more than just provide products. I could provide encouragement, guidance, and reassurance. I know firsthand how overwhelming breastfeeding can feel, and I believe no mom should have to go through it alone.
